Official Rules for Cribbage Golf:
Ones hand consists of:
Holes Handicap
Individual Score
Individual Score
Team Score
Cut card will be discovered at the end of the hole played, and before teeing off on the next hole, by cutting from a deck of cards.
Anything after 13 will begin again at 1
Pegging will be done by:
Pegging +1 for ones own team
Fairway
GIR
Sandy for Par
Up and Down
Polie
Closest to the pin
Winning teams combined score is 2 for 31
Pegging +1 for opponents team:
Lost Ball
Ball in Hazard
Ball out of Bounds
(these are not combinable offenses)
The tee off order will be established before the first hole by lagging to a predetermined spot. All other holes will be played by lowest score teeing off 1st and highest last, in the event of a tie then one goes back in the scoring until the tie has been broken.
The importance of this comes into play when pegging, if player one hits his shot into the fairway or, on the green in the case of a par 3, he would then peg one point. If on the ensuing shot the second player does the same he would Pair the 1st player and score 2 points. If then the 3rd player matched the previous skill he would score a run which would be 3 points and lastly the 4th player would get 4 points if he too matched the previous efforts.
This is valid only from the teebox
Criers and Whiners
Criers and Whiners is a game of do-overs, or mulligans that can be used from any point on the course. In Criers and Whiners, Each player will be given 4 shots per round.
Example:Hit a bad shot off the second tee? Hit it again.
Now you've got 3 left.
Or, if your opponent hits a REALLY good shot you can assign one of your
Mulligans by dropping a ball where the shot originated and say “do it again”!!
(Hole in ones are exempt)
Two other conditions usually apply: The first tee shot of the day may not be replayed, only one shot per hole.
Gruesomes
Gruesomes is a 2-person team game that both members of the team tee off - and then the opposing team selects which drive they have to play. Needless to say, the opposing team is likely to select the worst - or most gruesome - of the two drives.
Following selection of the tee ball, the teams play out the hole in alternate shot fashion. The player who hit the "gruesome" tee ball also plays the second shot
Bag Raid
Bag Raid is a match play game between two players. It's pretty simple: Every time a player wins a hole, his opponent gets to choose one club from his bag and remove that club from play.
Example: After A wins the first hole, B removes A's pitching wedge from play. For the rest of the round, A cannot use that pitching wedge.
Each Player will start with 9 Clubs and will be matched with someone of similar range handicap
The strategy - well, aside from the strategy of not losing holes - is to first remove from your opponent's bag the clubs which he's most comfortable and best with.
Bag Raid can be a good game for learning creative shots and practicing draws, fades, punch shots and the like. Because by the turn - unless you're winning every hole - you'll be playing shots for which you may no longer have the appropriate club.
Bingo, Bango, Bongo:
A good game for all skill levels. The foursome decides the
order of tee off (usually a lag) . An amount is set before play begins for first
on (Bingo), closest to the pin without going over the green (Bango) and longest
putt (Bongo). Furthest from the green has honors. Lowest score tees off on the
next hole.
Slapshot:
This is a fun game for those days that the course is moving
very slow. A wager is placed and 1 club is chosen by a player. Another player chooses
a "course" through the Tee Markers. A third chooses a starting point
and the 4th starts.
Example: Player 1 chooses a 3 wood. Player 2 lays out left white marker first
then the right. Player 3 chooses to begin on the front of the tee box. Player 4
begins. After you hit both markers you begin to go after each others ball. If on
your turn you hit your target than you continue on until you miss or get
everyone out. If you miss then the next player follows. This order is usually
chosen by a lag. Last one alive wins the pot.
Cry Wolf:
Another game invented by Gregg Gross
This is a game played best by 4 people of fairly equal talent. After a lag to
determine tee off order player 1 tees off. He then must decide who his partner
is by virtue of there tee shot. So if player 2 has a nice drive he may chose him
as his partner or he can wait and see how player 3 hits. If he passes on player
3 also than player 4 automatically becomes his partner. You can not choose a
player that you have already passed on. The 2 "teams" then play out
that hole, the lowest combined team score wins the hole. In the event of a tie
the teams would remain intact for the next hole. If a winner is decided then the
team choosing will begin fresh on the next hole with the person scoring the
lowest individual score teeing off in as Player 1 and so on.

Golf Game Basics
Stroke Play:
Every stroke counts. Lowest score wins.
Match Play:
Each hole is scored on a hole-by hole-basis. Lowest score wins the hole. Most
holes ‘won’ wins the match.
Nassau:
A Nassau is three games in one. One point is awarded for winning the first nine
holes, one point for the second nine holes and one (or two) point for winning
the entire 18 holes. A Nassau game can be played for either stroke play or match
play or in combination with other games simultaneously.
Press: A Press is a way to
get back in the game. When a player is at least one point (or hole) down in a
game he can ‘press’. Pressing doubles the point value of the on-going bet.
Sledgehammer:
A player may call or ‘hit’ his opponent with a sledgehammer at any time during a
hole, doubling the bet for that hole. Opponents must accept and continue playing
or surrender the hole to the player calling the Sledgehammer. The Sledgehammer
can be called many times during a hole as long as it is not called consecutively
by the same player.
